Managing partner, Atty. Vera has experience in general
litigation and corporate counseling. He is currently
specializing in intellectual property law with emphasis in
Copyrights, Trademarks, and Patents.
A graduate of the Ateneo Law School Class of 2001, Rod was
mentored by Atty. Jose Mario C. Buñag when the latter had
his own firm, Buñag & Associates and thereafter at the
Bureau of Internal Revenue. At the BIR, Rod was the
Technical Assistant under then Deputy Commissioner (now
Commissioner) Buñag. Atty. Vera drafted legal opinions and
reviewed decisions by the legal division of the BIR.
Few in the Philippines have achieved the educational
attainment that Rod has accomplished. In 2004, Rod pursued
a Masters of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Intellectual Property
and Technology at the University of San Francisco, San
Francisco, California, U.S.A. Presently, Rod is pursuing an
advocacy of anti-piracy and protecting the IP rights of
creative individuals and organizations in the Philippines.
Some of firm's clients in the Philippines include the rock
bands Razorback, Wolfgang and DaPulis.
